Surviving to Thriving: An Exploration of the Indomitable Spirit of Refugees Across the Globe

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Using the stories of refugees as our primary texts and the words of Psalms as our commentary, we will uncover the multiple layers of loss that refugees experience – of home, employment, culture, loved ones – and reflect on how these experiences inform, but do not limit the people they become. This experiential session will empower participants to find a path to action on behalf of the world’s refugees using our personal and communal stories of resilience as inspiration.
